Clerk Treasurer’s Corner

Greetings from the town building!  Activity continues around Town.  Meetings have begun with HWC Engineering and GRW, Inc on the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning ordinance projects.  These projects are going on simultaneously.  The Stormwater Utility and Infrastructure planning is also underway.  Supt. Bobby Taylor Jr. and I will be applying for another INDOT Community Crossings grant this year.  The plan would be to replace two more culverts on South Walnut and Vine Streets.  Street paving plans have not been finalized yet but Bobby is working on at that as well.  Water meter replacements are still ongoing.  REMINDER:  Please remember to purchase tags for your four-legged friends!  It is required by town ordinance.  Dog and Cat tags are available at the municipal building.  If you cannot get to the office during regular business hours please let me know.  I can make arrangements to get that done for you after hours.  Happy Spring!!

Welcome to Jamestown!

The town of Jamestown is a small community located in Boone County in Central Indiana. Although the town may be considered small compared to other neighboring communities, we have several undeveloped acres close to Interstate 74 and a newer subdivision with lots currently available.

Founded in 1830, the Jamestown heritage is rooted in vision, citizen involvement, commitment, and generosity.
